Reporting Analyst Trainee (40 hours/week)

The Reporting Analyst Trainee extracts data from various sources, checks them for completeness and errors and puts them into the right format for further usage. The frequency of the reports is usually daily, weekly and monthly. The Reporting Analyst Trainee works very closely with the other team members in the team and support their work.
Tasks
• Extracts data from various sources such as MDW, Wizard, Sherlock etc. according to requirements.
• Checks the data for completeness and accuracy as per requirements (documentation where available).
• Lets relevant people know if data accuracy problems have occurred.
• Hands over data for further analyses.
• Runs and updates regular reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis if required as per agreed SLA’s.
• Understands the underlying processes where the data and reports are connected to. Ask back proactively to facilitate the improvements and analytical work.
Expectations
Experience/Requirements:
• Ongoing University or college studies, preferably in the filed of: Statistics, Finance/Controlling or International Economics
• Good level analytic skills, including intermediate Ms Excel skills, macro-writing is an advantage
• Analytic mind – intellectual curiosity and will to understand and act upon root causes
• Able to work in fast paced environment where flexibility is key, and directions can change frequently
• Attention to detail
• Advanced level of English, confident in using it both oral and in writing
• Have active Student status and valid Student-card (as well as Student-visa if needed)
